Samuel Chow
Controller
Samuel Chow joined Sea Breeze Power in June 2006. He brings to the company over 14 years of
accounting experience from the public and private industry sectors. Samuel obtained his professional accounting
designation in 2000. Samuel’s main responsibility
is the preparation of financial statements and Management’s Discussion and
Analysis documents for the Canadian and US Securities Exchanges.
James Griffths
Project Manager: Permitting
James Griffiths manages the development of Sea Breeze's
wind energy projects to ensure that projects are
developed in an efficient and focused manner.
This involves coordinating a team of
staff and consultants in the planning and execution of
desktop and field studies at candidate wind farmsites to
investigate key engineering, environmental, or other issues.
This information, along with information gathered by Sea Breeze's
meteorology department, assists in the prioritization
of projects, and the design of an appropriate development
program.
Mr. Griffiths has previously contributed to the
permitting of the Knob Hill wind farm project in 2004,
and managed regulatory proceedings for the Vancouver Island
Cable project in 2005/06. Mr. Griffiths is currently completing a
Masters in Environment and Management at Royal
Roads University. His thesis project involves an exploration
of the effectiveness of an ecosystem-based management
framework in planning a large wind farm project and
simultaneously protecting ecosystem structure and function.
Previous work experience includes research at the
BC Cancer Agency and at the TRIUMF particle accelerator at UBC.
Dmitri Kotliarov
Financial Analyst
Dmitri Kotliarov is responsible for overseeing various aspects relating
to financing on both the project and corporate levels, from performing
economic feasibility analysis to participating in contract and
partnership negotiations. Dmitri holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance)
degree from the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of
Business and is currently working towards obtaining the Chartered
Financial Analyst designation. Dmitri joined the Sea Breeze team in 2005.
Danijela Vecei
Senior Meteorologist
Danijela joined Sea Breeze as a
Meteorologist in May 2004 where she developed a 12-step program for the quality
control of wind measurements. From January 2005 to April 2006, Danijela took
over duties of Senior Meteorologist, where she managed the data collection, analysis
and quality control program, the wind resource assessment and wind farm
modelling. She returned to the company as Consulting Meteorologist in 2007. She
took on the role of Senior Meteorologist again in March 2008.
Danijela obtained a M.Sc. from McGill University in 2003 with McGill's Radar Group. Her experiences
include Gaussian dispersion modeling, algorithm development and scientific data
analysis obtained from a variety of meteorological instruments.
